Face à la pandémie du Covid-19, il est primordial que les différents acteurs des sciences de la vie et des biotechnologies travaillent ensemble et s’entraident au niveau international afin d’accélérer le développement de traitements, vaccins et diagnostics. In the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the biopharma industry needs new ways to collaborate to bring treatments to patients faster. This free virtual partnering event gathers organizations with solutions for COVID-19 testing, treatment and prevention for online one-to-one partnering meetings.The answer? #PartneringAgainstCOVID19.

From 20 April to 6 May 2020, a unique COVID-19 Virtual Partnering event will bring together organizations with solutions for coronavirus testing, treatment and prevention for online one-to-one partnering meetings.
This initiative is backed by a consortium of biotech clusters and trade associations and represents a safe, structured and easy-to-use online meeting space for those working on solutions for COVID-19. The event is organized by LyonBiopole, Inova and Evaluate Ltd, and will leverage Inova’s leading matchmaking platform that has been at the heart of major international biopharmaceutical conventions since 2015 and is by far the most efficient solution to connect companies at scale. 
Participation is open to any organization that provides product, knowledge, or technologies that can help in the effort to develop and produce testing, treatment and vaccine solutions to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will be able to pursue:

Event at a glance

What is a virtual Partnering Event?A partnering event usually aims to facilitate interactions between attendees at big conferences in convention centers. Instead, we’re providing a safe, structured and easy-to-use online space for those working on solutions for COVID-19.

What is the timeline? Meeting requests: Partnering meetings are unique in that the interactions are not serendipitous. Participants search for and request meetings with potential partners in our directory. Once accepted, they schedule the meeting via our online networking platform. Access to the directory and meeting scheduling will start from 20 April. 

Virtual meetings: Meetings take place from 4 May through 6 May using the online meeting system. Meetings only last 30 minutes. They are short but allow enough time for an introduction to the partner and their capabilities. 

Follow-ups: Although the initial meeting is short, the relationship continues afterwards.
