The TWB START-UP DAY event, organised by TWB in an all-digital format on 2 & 3 February 2021, will focus on “Industrial Biotechnology: What are we up to?” through two topics: Biotech & Circularity and Data & Artificial intelligence. This event is dedicated to the industrial biotechnology community and beyond; it puts in contact start-uppers and entrepreneurs with investors, SMEs and large corporations who have an interest in the field.

The program is divided into keynotes, thematic sessions and virtual BtoB meetings to build partnerships between the key players and experts from the biotech start-up business ecosytem.

Biotech start-up contests

 Deadline to apply: January 21, 2021 

 

The 2021 edition will host two pitch contests, one “Fast track it!” dedicated to start-ups developing their technologies and a new one “Go for it!” dedicated to entrepreneurs in the final stage of the ideation.

 

Winners of the pitch contests will be awarded:

  •  “Fast track it!”: technical services on TWB platforms valued at €50,000 and opportunities within the IAR (The French Bioeconomy cluster) community.
  • “Go for it!”: mentoring services, equivalent to four days, provided by TWB and its ecosystem, and by The French Tech Toulouse and ShakeUpFactory.
